# About VPSLedger

VPSLedger is a data-first VPS price comparison site. It exists because most "cheap VPS" pages are affiliate blogs that rank providers by commission. Here, the dataset comes first: every plan row shows the official source URL and the date it was verified, and the tables are generated at build time from version-controlled JSON.

We never claim any provider is "the best". Filters and ordering are mechanical: price, RAM, vCPU, storage, price-per-GB-RAM, price-per-vCPU. Where data is missing it is shown as missing. Where third-party sources conflict with official pages, the row stays out of the dataset until resolved (unknown beats wrong).

The site is statically generated with Astro — tables are fully visible without JavaScript; the finder filter is optional progressive enhancement. The code is MIT licensed on [GitHub](https://github.com/shileibiz/vpsfinder).
